The New Millstream Career and Technical Center in Findlay, Ohio, offers juniors and seniors from Putnam and Hancock Counties the opportunity to take classes in technical career fields including auto tech, auto detailing, engineering, construction trades, industrial arts, cosmetology food service, and office and print media among others.

This project consisted of the construction of the new 85,000 sf Millstream Career Technical Center. It features a geothermal HVAC system, rainwater harvesting and photovoltaic technologies, two-story masonry and structural steel bearing, and complexities in aluminum storefronts/window applications.

The envelope of the building features brick veneer, metal wall panels, and metal panel roofing. Vocational-type learning spaces, including a barber/beauty lab, cosmetology lab, auto body/mechanical shop, wood/metal working shops/labs, as well as a restaurant, are the focus of the building’s use.
